Metal-coated steel is a steel plate coated with another different metal layer such as zinc, aluminum and etc. to prevent corrosion reaction from environment.

Aluzinc or Galvalume steel is a steel plate coated with aluminum 55% zinc 43.5% and silicon 1.5% making high corrosion resistance. It is widely used for residential area especially in metal roof industry.

Coating layer of galvanized steel composes of only zinc 99% making lower corrosion resistance and service life compared to galvalume steel about 4 times.

Apart from aesthetic perspective, paint on galvalume steel can also delay corrosion reaction, reflect heat and has self-cleaning ability* as well
